This is a Rickenbacker 4003 walnut pickguard made in my shop from locally sourced wood in Westerville, OH. These will fit the newer/modern 4003's. I have confirmed they fit 4003's from 2016 and newer. These look great on the MapleGlo models with the maple head stock wings but can be used on any of the other finishes as well.

They are about .107 inches thick so they are just slightly thicker than the stock pickguards. I added just a small round-over to the entire edge so there's more room for thumb bracing than the original.

It is finished with Tru-Oil and polished with a light wax to give it a smooth, natural feel that pops the grain of the wood and gives it a textured look.

Panhead wood screws are included. Panhead screws will limit the possibly of cracking the wood pickguard by overtightening.  

I do offer matching truss rod covers with logo for an additional cost. Please select "Yes" for the "Truss Rod Option" to include it in your order.

The photo is an example and not the exact pickguard you will get but is a good representation of the grain pattern in most that I make. These are mostly made to order and take about 2-4 weeks to ship.  I sometimes have some in stock so if you're in a hurry please email me to see if I have any in stock that can be shipped immediately.

These will be shipped attached to a sacrificial board to add rigidity during shipping. Please feel free to discard it, sacrifice it, use it as a boomerang or use it for whatever you wish.
